Child Protection Society

Championing early childhood education and development in Zimbabwe is a project initiated by Child Protection Society on behalf of Zimbabwe Network of Early Childhood Development Actors (ZINECDA). The project seeks to establish a network of ECDE actors in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe currently does not have a network that supports the development of ECDE in the country. This has resulted in fragmented approaches in ECDE and there is a knowledge gap in which ECDE actors do not even know who is working where and implementing what sort of program in the country.

This network will act as a link between grassroots organizations working in ECDE, national government, donors and other agencies interested in the early development and learning of children in Zimbabwe. The network operates in all the 10 provinces of Zimbabwe through representation by organizations already working on ECDE in those regions.
