Centre for Human Rights Education Advice Assistance (CHREAA)

CHREAA the Centre for Human Rights Education Advice Assistance, has been working within the criminal justice system since 2000, and has been has been our partner in the sex work portfolio for Malawi for the past two years. CHREEA seeks to contribute to the Promotion and protection of the rights of sex workers by ensuring that they have access to justice, in the areas of Blantyre, Chilobwe, Chilomoni, Ndirande, Bangwe, Mannase, Kachere, Makhetha and South Lunzu.

CHREEA seeks to contribute to the Promotion and protection of the rights of sex workers by ensuring that they have access to justice, in the areas of Blantyre, Chilobwe, Chilomoni, Ndirande, Bangwe, Mannase, Kachere, Makhetha and South Lunzu. This is done through addressing the discriminatory barriers that exist through sensitisation meetings with law enforcement agencies to discourage police abuse and prevent the stigmatisation against sex workers.
