Stimulus Africa Foundation

Stimulus is a social enterprise established in 2011 in Harare, Zimbabwe with a mandate to positively disrupt the manner in which Zimbabwe and Africa approach entrepreneurship. Its overarching goal is to support private sector development through nurturing entrepreneurship in order to create jobs and improve the lives and communities of ordinary people. Stimuluses core activities centre on three pillars, namely: Training & Business Coaching, Mentorship & Counselling Support and Networking.

Through its Research & Advocacy Unit it actively gathers and disseminates information within the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Zimbabwe. Through Stimulus Africa Foundation (a project of the Hub) it sources funding to develop and implement its innovative ideas, support private sector development and sustainable development of communities through civic engagement, the promotion of dialogue platforms and social entrepreneurship. Monitoring and evaluation of its projects is a key part of its work.
